2. What data we collect

Data you give us

Name and at least one contact (email or WhatsApp) are needed to answer you. Everything else is optional. Please do not send us special categories of data (for example health information) unless they are needed for your request.

Data collected when you use the site

We do not use Google Analytics. The fonts and images of the site are served by our own server: opening a page does not send your data to Google or other font providers.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

We do not sell your data.

News, offers and promotions

If you tick the optional box “I would like to receive news, offers and promotions” in one of our forms, we may send you information about our programmes, new intakes, offers and events by email and WhatsApp. This box is never pre-ticked and you can send your request without it. We record the date and the text you agreed to.

You can withdraw this consent at any time, for free: use the unsubscribe link in our emails, reply “STOP” on WhatsApp or write to info@goforitaly.it. Withdrawing does not affect the answers to your request.

4. WhatsApp and our virtual assistant

On WhatsApp the first replies may come from Sofia, our virtual assistant, which uses artificial intelligence to answer questions about our programmes. A person from our team reads the conversations, can take over at any moment and does so whenever you ask to talk to a person.

5. Who receives your data

Your data is seen by the members of our team who handle your request. We also use these service providers, which process data on our behalf and under our instructions:

Only if you decide to apply, and with your agreement, we share the data needed for your application with the school or university you choose and, for visa matters, with the competent authorities. Otherwise we only disclose data when the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some of the providers above store or process data outside the European Economic Area:

You can ask us for more information about these safeguards at the address in section 1.
